NBA Draft 2003 set for this evening – Knicks hold rights to the 9th selection







Knicks NBA Draft Central 2003
The New York Knicks will have the 9th, 30th, and 39th overall picks in the NBA Draft 2003, which will be held in New York City at The Theater at Madison Square Garden this evening. This is the third straight year the event has been held at this venue. Live coverage of NBA Draft 2003 will start at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN Radio in the United States and Raptors NBATV in Canada.

All tickets to the 2003 NBA Draft have been sold out. Doors will open at 6:45 pm for those holding tickets.

    • Acquired conditional first round pick from Seattle Supersonics (lottery protected through 2006). If New York does not receive a first round pick from Seattle prior to the 2007 Draft, the Knicks will receive Seattle's 2007 first round pick unconditionally. However, once New York receives that pick, they must trade it to Toronto as part of the February 22, 2001 trade.
