New York’s regular home schedule is highlighted by one visit from the World Champion San Antonio Spurs on Friday, Feb. 8, two visits by the Cavaliers on Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Wednesday, Mar. 5 and one appearance by the Portland Trail Blazers and the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Greg Oden, on Saturday, Mar. 8. The team will play four afternoon games at home, including its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day game on Monday, Jan. 21 versus the Boston Celtics.
The Knicks will play 20 back-to-back sets and four-games-in-five-nights on three occasions.
Prior to the 82-game regular season, New York will participate in seven total preseason games, including four at Madison Square Garden, with a match-up against Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv on Oct. 11. Tickets for the preseason home games versus NBA opponents at MSG go on sale Thursday, Sep. 6 at 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased at the Madison Square Garden Box Office, nyknicks.com, (800) 4NBA-TIX and TicketMaster outlets. The preseason schedule will be released later this month.

Media Day is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1 at Madison Square Garden Training Center in Tarrytown, NY.
