Help Choose the 2005-06 Knicks City Dancers
On Saturday, July 16, over 500 hundred applicants tried out for the 2005-06 Knicks City Dancers, the hottest dance team in New York City. Approximately 50 aspiring dancers then returned to Madison Square Garden on Sunday, July 17, for a final round of auditions. After the final auditions, the New York Knicks selected 16 of the 17 2005-06 Knicks City Dancers.

This season, Knicks Fans were invited to vote online for one of three runners-up to join the Knicks City Dancers! The winner of the online fan voting was announced live on the air Tuesday, July 19th on Fox 5's "Good Day New York." Congratulations to LAURA, the winner of the online fan voting. Laura becomes the 17th member of the 2005-06 Knicks City Dancers.

Here's what the KCD staff looks for in judging an applicant for the Knicks City Dancers:

    Why I Want to be a Knicks City Dancer: I want to be part of the Knicks dance team more than anything. I love to perform and would love to be part of an amazing group of dancers.
