Exclusive Tyson Chandler and Walt "Clyde" Frazier

Kalinsky Portraits

On Tuesday, January 22, the Garden of Dreams Foundation and The Madison Square Garden Company held a press conference announcing the unprecedented sale of six signed, original, one-of-a-kind pieces of art by legendary Official Garden Photographer George Kalinsky, to benefit the Foundation's mission to help children facing obstacles.

The press conference was hosted by MSG Network's Al Trautwig in the MSG Club Bar & Grill and featured appearances by a majority of the artwork's subjects, including Rangers All-Star goalie Henrik Lundqvist; Rangers legend Adam Graves; Knicks legend and MSG Network analyst Walt "Clyde" Frazier; Giants two-time Super Bowl champion Justin Tuck; and Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa from HBO's Emmy Award-winning series The Sopranos

To create the original canvases, Kalinsky placed acrylic paint over an iconic photo using paint brushes and a palette knife, resulting in one-of-a-kind creations only available through this offer. These pieces will be auctioned to the public via the Steiner Sports website (SteinerSports.com/GardenOfDreams).

There is also the opportunity to purchase 18" x 24" signed poster prints of the original artwork for $200 or an unsigned poster print for $75 via the Steiner Sports website.

All net proceeds will go to supporting the Garden of Dreams Foundation.  Garden of Dreams is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that works with The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles.  Through ongoing programs that use the magic of MSG – including the Knicks, the Rangers, the Liberty, MSG Entertainment, MSG Networks and Fuse – the Foundation develops strong, long-term relationships that truly change lives.  Since its inception in September 2006, Garden of Dreams has created thousands of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that have brought joy and happiness to more than 225,000 children and their families, including those facing homelessness, extreme poverty, illness and foster care.
