Stat Of The Game

Amar'e Stoudemire became the second player in team history to score at least 30 points in seven consecutive games, tying the legendary Willie Naulls' record set in 1962.

Turning Point

Trailing 54-49 after the first half, the Knicks went on a 13-3 run to start the third quarter and eventually net them the win. Amar'e Stoudemire started off the run with a sweet jumper, which was followed by a Wilson Chandler jumper and Danilo Gallinari three-pointer. Landy Fields' reverse lay-up sandwiched four points from Raymond Felton as the Knicks took a 62-57 lead with 8:41 left in the quarter.

Quote Of The Game

"It's a team success. It is a team record. We have done a great job of playing, and I wouldn't be open if we didn't have such great shooters. So we do a great job spacing the floor and the guys are playing well."-- Amar'e Stoudemire on tying the Knicks record
