Stat Of The GameAfter being outrebounded early on in the game, the Knicks attacked the glass and finished with a 49-45 edge in the rebounding department. Amar'e Stoudemire led the way with 10 boards.
Turning PointAndrea Bargnani hit a three-pointer with 5:15 remaining in the game to cut the Knicks lead to 89-87. It is at this time in a game where teams look for their marquee man, and luckily for the Knicks, they now have Amar'e Stoudemire to fill that role. STAT scored the next seven points for the Knicks asthe lead ballooned up to 96-88 with 2:40 remaining, putting New York safely ahead for the remainder of the game and giving them an eight-point advantage that allowed them to withstand a late Raptors rally.
