New York Knicks 97 - Philadelphia 76ers 92
Carmelo Anthony takes a well deserved breather during a break in the action.
Stat Of The GameThe Knicks played terrific defense most of the night, particularly in the first half when they limited the Sixers to just 19 points in the first quarter and 22 in the second. They also clamped down on the perimeter, as the Sixers were 0-for-15 from behind-the-arc before making two of their last three attempts.
Turning PointNew York's one time 19 point lead was completely gone as Philly went on a late 10-0 run to take an 88-87 lead. However, Toney Douglas showed he has ice-water in his veins, immediately draining a three with 1:47 left to put the Knicks back on top. New York nursed that lead, which stood at 92-91 with 11 ticks left, before Carmelo Anthony put the final nail in the coffin with a three-pointer of his own.
Quote Of The Game
