Stat Of The Game

The Knicks won their sixth straight road game for the first time in sixteen years.

Turning Point

The Knicks led by one, 74-73, with 38 ticks left in the third when Shawne Williams scored two of his career-high 13 points to ignite a 10-0 run to give the Knicks the lead for good. Raymond Felton scored on an impressive three-point play to end the quarter before Amar'e Stoudemire's eight-footer and Wilson Chandler's three-point bucket in the first minute of the fourth gave New York a comfortable 84-73 lead.

Quote Of The Game

"Shawne Williams came in and gave us a boost off the bench...He looked good. He's been looking good all along. We just needed what he gives us in shooting, and I knew he was going to be open because of Amar'e and the pick and roll. We needed someone to knock them down and hopefully did it."-- Mike D'Antoni
