Stat Of The Game

With the win and a Charlotte loss, New York clinched its first playoff berth since Apr. 7, 2004. New York currently t rails Philadelphia by 1.5 games for the sixth spot and is ahead of Indiana by 3.5.

Turning Point

The Cavaliers fought back to make it a five point game, 93-88, heading into the fourth quarter. The Cavs then scored the first basket of the fourth quarter before the Knicks went on a 12-0 run to go ahead 105-90, never looking back as they secured a place in the 2011 NBA Playoffs.

Quote Of The Game

“That was the first goal. It would be nice to have home court advantage…but we didn’t do that. Other than that, this is as good as we can do up to this point now we have to keep getting better defensively, rebounding, all the little stuff which I thought in the fourth quarter we were better. Good stuff…we just have to keep getting better.” - Mike D'Antoni
