Houston scores 20 in Game 4 loss
(1988) Charlotte Hornets select Knicks guard Sedric Toney in the 1988 Expansion Draft.
 
(1999)  Knicks lose to San Antonio 96-89 in Game Four of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden, to fall in a 3-1 series deficit. Latrell Sprewell leads the way with 26 points and Allan Houston and Marcus Camby score 20 points apiece.
 
(2011) With the 17th overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Knicks select guard Iman Shumpert from Georgia Tech. Also, acquire the draft rights to forward Josh Harrellson (45th overall) from New Orleans in exchange for cash considerations.
