Knicks Become First 8 Seed to Reach NBA Finals

(1999) Knicks become first eight seed in NBA history to reach the NBA Finals, as they defeat the Indiana Pacers 90-82 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at MSG. Knicks overcome the loss of Larry Johnson to a first-half knee injury, behind 32 points from Allan Houston and 20 points from Latrell Sprewell.
