HELP CHOOSE THE 2003-04 KNICKS CITY DANCERS

On Sunday, August 17, hundreds of applicants tried out for the 2003-04 Knicks City Dancers, the hottest dance team in New York City. Approximately 40 aspiring dancers then returned to The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Monday, August 18, for a final round of auditions. After the final auditions, the New York Knicks selected 17 of the 18 2003-04 Knicks City Dancers. The final dancer was then selected by you, the fan. For the second consecutive year, fans were able to vote online for one of three runners-up to join the Knicks City Dancers. After appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America and WB 11's Morning News, thousands of fans voted. And the winner was Sarah Mitchell. Welcome to the Knicks City Dancers, Sarah!

Here's what the KCD staff looks for in judging an applicant for the Knicks City Dancers:
Good dance technique
Ability to quickly learn choreography
Athleticism
High energy
Personality
Enthusiasm
