Basketball Clinics



Knicks Basketball Clinics create an opportunity for basketball fans to participate and learn the concepts of Knicks basketball in an area near you. Clinics focus on helping athletes improve their skills and develop their overall basketball games by teaching basic practice drills and emphasizing the fundamentals.

Clinics will be taught by the Knicks Field Marketing staff, local basketball coaches, and basketball legends John Starks and Kym Hampton. Past clinics have included guest lecturers from the front office, the Knicks current roster, and alumni.

Parent & Child Basketball Clinic (November 10, 2009)
Parents and children can learn the game of basketball from Knicks stars Al Harrington and Larrry Hughes as well as legend John Starks. The two-hour clinic will be held on the Madison Square Garden court. Click here for more information.

Knicks Net Gain Basketball Clinic (March 2, 2009)
Knicks players/alumni Chris Wilcox, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, John Starks, Anthony Bonner and Anthony Mason shared basketball fundamentals with 50 high school players and student athletes from the Urban Dove, members of the Net Gain (Youth Inc) program at Hunter College in Manhattan.
