Last Man Standing Finals Sunday at MSG

Former Knicks John Starks, Jerome Williams, Micheal Ray Richardson And The Knicks City Dancers To Host MSG's "Last Man Standing" Tournament To Determine Tri-State Area's Best One-On-One Basketball Player

Sunday, October 30th, 2:00 pm At Madison Square Garden (after Knicks open practice)

NEW YORK, October 27, 2005 - Who will be crowned the one-on-one basketball king of the Tri-State area? That distinction will be awarded at Madison Square Garden's Last Man Standing One-On-One Basketball Tournament" presented by McDonald's with apparel by Game Over benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of New York and New Jersey.

The qualifying events began in July and ran through August with eight regional one-day tournaments with over 300 participants at McDonald's locations in the boroughs of New York, as well as New Jersey, Connecticut and Long Island. The top players from each location advanced to MSG for the one-on-one championship of the tri-state area.

The tournament champion will drive off in a new car and will receive tickets to Madison Square Garden basketball events. The winner also receives $2,000 in cash and a championship jacket and trophy. The second, third and fourth place finishers will also walk away with cash, multiple prizes and Garden basketball tickets.
