Coaches' Challenge: Coach D vs. Coach T

On Tuesday, February 8th, Knicks Head Coach Mike D’Antoni teamed up with Rangers Head Coach, John Tortorella to present the 1st Annual Coaches’ Challenge at the Madison Square Garden Training Center. The coaches invited 20 children from Harlem Dowling, a Garden of Dreams partner organization, to attend lunch hosted by their wives and to battle it out in a day of “color war” styled games.

The kids played a game of dress and dribble, competed in an obstacle course race, and were joined by Coach D’Antoni and Coach Tortorella for a spirited game of tug-of-war. A great time was had by all in attendance. Team Tortorella was awarded a trophy for their victory but everyone involved walked away winners.
