Coaches’ Challenge: Coach D vs. Coach T

On Tuesday, November 1, Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni teamed up with Rangers head coach, John Tortorella to present the 2nd Annual Coaches’ Challenge at the Madison Square Garden Training Center. The coaches invited 30 children from WHEDCO, a Garden of Dreams partner organization, to attend lunch hosted by their wives and to battle it out in a day of “color war” styled games.

The kids played a game of dress and dribble, competed in an obstacle course race, and were joined by Coach D’Antoni and Coach Tortorella for a spirited game of tug-of-war. A great time was had by all in attendance. Even though Team D’Antoni took home the trophy for the first time, everyone involved walked away winners.
