19th Annual New York Knicks Summer Basketball Camp


Summer Basketball Camp
The Summer of 2009 featured the 18th consecutive season for the New York Knicks Summer Basketball Camp presented by Zipway. Knicks Basketball Camp provided boys and girls ages 8-18 with a structured basketball learning experience that encourages team participation and personal development. The Summer of 2009 focused on improving skills sessions emphasizing offense, defense, shooting and game fundamentals.

During the summer of 2008, current Knicks who visited camp included David Lee, Nate Robinson, Wilson Chandler, Chris Duhon, coaches Herb Williams and former players Allan Houston, John Starks, Jerome Williams, Charles Smith & Kenny Walker. Also appearing were the Liberty's Kym Hampton and Teresa Weatherspoon, former Knicks camper and current Chicago Bull Joakim Noah, and the Knicks City Dancers.

CAMPERS GOT:

  • NEW! Price included one 2009-10 Knicks ticket for each camper! (Game TBD)


  • NEW! Price included one 2009 New York Liberty "anytime" ticket for each camper!


  • All Campers received a Knicks camp uniform: a reversible mesh tank top and shorts


  • A box lunch and Gatorade was provided for all campers daily
