ARCO GENERAL INFO
ARCO Arena is the top venue for sports, entertainment and special events in the Greater Sacramento area. With over 200 spectator events each year, ARCO Arena is one of the busiest buildings of its kind in the United States.
Over 2 million fans from throughout Northern and Central California visited ARCO Arena last year for events ranging from NBA basketball to the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus. ARCO has hosted such world-famous acts as the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Garth Brooks, and a growing role call of today’s biggest names in entertainment.
The $40 million, 442,000 square-foot arena opened in 1988. The current configuration seats up to 17,317 and is versatile enough to host anything from ice shows to monster trucks.

Hours of Operation: All doors open 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
Advance Tickets: Tickets to upcoming Kings games and other ARCO Arena events are available at the Advance Ticket window, located on the concourse behind sections 223 and 224.
ATMs: Wells Fargo cash machines are available on the main concourse level at the Southeast and Southwest exits (behind sections 110 and 124).
Courtesy Desk: Visit the fully staffed courtesy desk on the concourse level behind section 122 for information about ARCO Arena and the day’s event.
First Aid: First aid services and an emergency medical technician are available at the arena security desk just off the concourse. ARCO Arena is also equipped with a portable defibrillator for emergency cardiac use.
General Parking: The cost for general parking at all Monarchs games is $8.00. General parking at all Sacramento Kings games and all other ARCO Arena events is $10.00.
Listening Aids: Listening devices to aid the hearing impaired are available at the Courtesy Desk.
Lost and Found: During events, the lost and found is located at the Courtesy Desk behind section 122. After an event, unclaimed items will be held at the Security Desk.

How long it takes to create an ice rink at ARCO Arena for ice shows and hockey. After arena employees flood the arena’s concrete floor, three huge freezers chill the concrete and turn it into one big, flat ice tray. The finished ice is about three-quarters of an inch think, just right for slapshots and triple Axels.
