Kings Complete Comeback in Denver

Missing two starters in Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento had a strong showing in the opening frame, led by six points each from Ben McLemore and Rudy Gay. The team trailed by just four after the first quarter, but Seth Curry took over the ensuing frame, hitting on 7-of-8 shots to tally 17 of the team’s 32 second quarter points.

Denver jumped out to a double-digit lead early in the third quarter, but Sactown rebounded to outscore the Nuggets by three in the quarter.

Allowing the opposition to score 20-plus points in each of the first three quarters, the purple and black locked down Denver in the final 12 minutes, holding the Nuggets to just 26 percent from the field for a total of 18 points. Sacramento had a 13-point advantage in the fourth quarter, leading to the victory in the team's final back-to-back of the season.

  • The Kings ended the night with a season-low seven turnovers.
  • One night removed from a career-high in points, Curry tied a career-high in assists with five.
