-- Friday’s contest features reigning NBA Champions led by 11-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki --

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Mar. 5, 2012 -- Less than 2,000 tickets remain for Friday evening’s Sacramento Kings-Dallas Mavericks game at 7 p.m. at Power Balance Pavilion, and seats to see the Kings attempt to upset the 2011 NBA Champs are selling fast.

Friday’s contest versus Dallas is the second of a Kings franchise-record nine-game home stand, a stretch that begins Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the New Orleans Hornets.

Following its tilt vs. Nowitzki and Co., Sacramento will also host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday at 6 p.m. before battling the Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons on March 13 and 14 respectively—marking the second set of home back-to-back contests this season (Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 vs. N.Y. Knicks and Hornets). A record slate of home games continues when the red-hot Rajon Rondo and Boston Celtics come to town on Friday, March 16 followed by a visit from rookie sensation Ricky Rubio and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, March 18.
