-- In honor of the Kings 27 season legacy in Sacramento, all remaining seats for tomorrow’s contest vs. the Hornets on-sale for just $27 --

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Mar. 6, 2012 -- The Kings have been playing NBA basketball in Sacramento for 27 seasons and after tonight’s vote by the City Council in support of a new downtown arena, the region is another step closer to extending that legacy for 27 more seasons and beyond.

“Tonight’s vote was an important next step in the process to construct a new entertainment and sports complex in Sacramento,” said Kings Co-owner Gavin Maloof. “On behalf of our entire family and the Kings organization, we want to thank everyone who has helped move this forward, especially the NBA, City Council, Mayor Kevin Johnson, the Think Big Sacramento Committee, and most importantly, our dedicated employees and loyal fans. We’re all excited.”

Kings fans can enjoy this exciting development by attending tomorrow’s game versus New Orleans for only $27 or less per ticket. All remaining seats will go on-sale for this special low price, which already includes all fees and convenience charges.

Tickets for this unprecedented offer can be purchased beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m., here or by visiting the Power Balance Pavilion Box Office, which will open an hour earlier than usual to increase convenience for fans looking to take advantage of the special pricing. Inventory is expected to sell quickly so fans are encouraged to act now.
