Kings to Open 2014-15 Training Camp on Sept. 27 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. ---- The Sacramento Kings will tip-off 2014-15 training camp with a morning practice on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Kings Practice Facility in Sacramento. The team will conduct training sessions through Saturday, Oct. 4 before traveling to Vancouver, B.C. for the preseason opener against the Toronto Raptors at Rogers Arena on Sunday, Oct. 5. 

Media members are encouraged to email Darryl Arata (darata@kings.com) in the Kings Media Relations Department to be included on the daily practice time distribution list.     

Additionally, the Kings annual Media Day is slated for Friday, Sept. 26 from 2-5 p.m. at the Kings Practice Facility, where players, coaches and select basketball personnel will be available for interviews and head shot photographs. 

The preseason continues in Sacramento on Tuesday, Oct. 7 as Sacramento hosts its preseason home opener against the Raptors at Sleep Train Arena. Exhibition play then continues on a different continent when the team departs for the 2014 NBA China Games in preparation for a pair of contests against the Brooklyn Nets in Shanghai and Beijing on Oct. 11 and 15. The Kings return from the Far East a week later to host Israeli-league power Maccabi Haifa on Saturday, Oct. 18 in the home preseason finale. 

Sacramento rounds out the 2014 exhibition slate with road games at San Antonio on Monday, Oct. 20 and in Las Vegas against the L.A. Lakers from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday, Oct. 24.
