KINGS PARTNER WITH ELEVENDY ON EPIC BRAND CREATION

--Sacramento Kings select local creative design firm to create dynamic imaging--

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Nov. 5, 2012 --– The Sacramento Kings today formally announced the continuance of their partnership with Sacramento-based creative design firm Elevendy. Selected by the Kings for their ability to deliver unparalleled, epic imaging, Elevendy has been responsible for delivering the emotionally connective visuals that have spearheaded a revolutionary re-branding effort.

“The Kings and Elevendy are a perfect match,” said Kings Senior Vice President of Broadcasting, New Media and Brand Development Craig Amazeen. “It works for two primary reasons. One, we’re the Kings – ‘Medieval’, ‘Epic’ Kings – and they’re absolute masters in this type of imaging. Two, they were lightning quick to understand the emotional connection between this city and this team, and the truly epic story of which we are in the midst. Plus, if that’s not enough, our creative chemistry is off the charts.”

Last season, Elevendy provided key art for the Kings primary brand image – the Spirit King (and Six Relics). It was a breakthrough piece of art for the franchise. Symbolic. Connective. Reflective of the team’s story. The firm also delivered primary art for the Kings “Defend Your Honor” marketing campaign, which garnered four Gold Addy® Awards.

“We’re honored to be working with Sacramento’s most recognizable brand, and hopefully bringing art normally associated with video games and films to the sports marketing world,” said Elevendy Co-Founder Dave Cox. “Amazing art and storytelling comes from vision and collaboration, and we have had that since Day 1 with the Kings.”

This season, the enhanced partnership has already created incredible key art for all 14 Kings players that will be utilized in a multitude of ways. It has also developed a new, more aggressive Spirit King image and the most unique, epic dancer calendar in the history of sports.

“We’re beyond lucky to have the most talented key art design firm in the country right here in Sacramento,” said Amazeen. “This is just the beginning of an incredibly comprehensive and dynamic imaging strategy. Our players are totally into it. Our dancers are totally into it. Most importantly, our fans are totally into it. We are quickly developing an authentic look and feel, and it starts with Elevendy’s ability to deliver this extremely high-end art.”
