SACRAMENTO, Calif. – As part of the NBA FIT Live Healthy Week from January 3 – 10, the Sacramento Kings will host a series of activities highlighting the importance of healthy living.
Sacramento Kings players, dancers and staff will participate in a myriad of events, along with in-arena and online programming, to encourage active lifestyles for children and their families.
NBA FIT is the league's comprehensive health and wellness program that encourages physical activity and healthy living for children and families through events and products year-round.

As part of NBA FIT Live Healthy Week, Sacramento Kings player Carl Landry and members of the team’s dance troupe will join senior citizens for Tai Chi, Zumba and a stretching class taught by 95-year-old resident, Marion Alflen.

As part of the Active Alliance partnership and NBA FIT Live Healthy Week, the Sacramento Kings and HealthCorps are teaming up to host a fitness clinic. Kings players Isaiah Thomas and Quincy Acy, dancers and game night hosts will create a fun atmosphere and teach local high school students a variety of fitness and basketball skills. Subway will also provide a healthy meal for the students to enjoy once the clinic is over.
