The Kings will practice twice a day (10 am and 6 pm) from Wednesday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 7th, before returning to Sacramento on Monday, October 8th. The team will hold its annual Media Day on Monday, October 1st from 2-4 pm at the Kings Practice Facility.

“It’s important to get away to a place like Colorado Springs to continue the bonding, building and growth of our team,” explained Kings’ Head Coach Keith Smart. “The players did an outstanding job this offseason of coming together as a unit on various occasions and this is just a continuation of that process of growing our team and moving it in the right direction. I’m looking forward to getting off to a well-conditioned training camp and productive preseason in preparation for opening night and the regular season.”

Kings players, coaches and select basketball personnel will be available for interviews and head shot photographs on Media Day. Special photo and interview requests should be directed in advance to Darrin May in the Kings’ Media Relations Department.

All of the practice sessions during the preseason will be held at the Kings Practice Facility. For media members covering training camp in Colorado Springs, players and coaches will be available for interviews immediately following the morning practice.
