Kings Assign Papagiannis and Labissiere to Reno Bighorns

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento Kings today announced the team has assigned center Georgios Papagiannis and forward Skal Labissiere to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League.

Papagiannis has accrued averages of 10.0 points (.474 FG%, .750 FT%), 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 25.3 minutes per game in six appearances for the Bighorns (three starts). A 7-2 center, Papagiannis recently contributed his first career-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) in a victory over the Texas Legends on Nov. 22.

The 28th overall selection in the 2016 NBA Draft, Labissiere appeared in two games for Sacramento during the team’s recent road trip (Dec. 14-18), totaling nine minutes of action. In 11 starts for the Bighorns this season, he has posted 14.3 points (.445 FG%, .694 FT%), 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 29.3 minutes per game, including a career-high 25 points (9-20 FG, 7-13 FT) to accompany 10 rebounds, one assist, three steals and four blocks in 36 minutes against the L.A. Defenders on Dec 8.

Both players are expected to be in uniform for the Bighorns next contest against the Austin Spurs tomorrow night in Reno.
