KINGS TO ASSIGN HONEYCUTT TO RENO

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Nov. 7, 2012 -- The Sacramento Kings will officially assign second-year forward Tyler Honeycutt to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League tomorrow (November 8th, 2012), according to Kings’ President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.

Honeycutt finished his rookie campaign (2011-12) averaging 1.3 points (.333 FGs, .333 3FGs, .600 FTs) in 15 games off the bench for Sacramento, but has yet to see any action this season.

Honeycutt will be available to play tonight for the Kings at home versus Detroit, but will report to Reno by 5 p.m. on Friday. He is the first D-League assignment in the NBA this season.
