Kings Announce First-Ever Co-Branded, Nickname Jersey Sponsorship

SACRAMENTO, Calif. –In the team’s continued effort to create unique and innovative partnerships, the Sacramento Kings and Pizza Guys, in conjunction with Isaiah Thomas, are excited to reveal that the team’s point guard will debut the League’s first-ever co-branded, nickname jersey this Sunday, as the Kings host the Dallas Mavericks.

“Led by Vivek, our organization’s mantra is to be leaders in innovation,” said Kings President Chris Granger. “It is with great excitement that we are teaming up with proud partner Pizza Guys and the star of their hit commercials, Isaiah Thomas, to reveal a new product that delivers on that goal. And who’s better at delivery than Pizza Guys?”

Since launch of the ever-popular Pizza Guys “I’m a Pizza Guy” commercials, featuring Thomas, the Kings guard has earned the moniker “Pizza Guy” from the world’s loudest fanbase.

“There is no player who better embodies the ability to deliver than Isaiah,” said Pizza Guys founder Shahpour Nejad. “The opportunity to not only build off of the incredible brand synergy that’s been created between us and Thomas, but also Sacramento’s home team, is truly remarkable. This is certainly a tribute to Kings fans for adopting our slogan into a nickname for one of our favorite players, and its now set to make sports history, appearing on the back of Isaiah’s uniform.”

Jerseys will be available for sale in the team store by game time.
