SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Nov. 5, 2012 --– In their endless pursuit to offer fans the most advanced connection and access to the team, the Sacramento Kings today announced the unveiling of Kings Social Media Headquarters (#KingsHQ) at Sleep Train Arena.

Located at the bottom of Section 106, the courtside corner will be the epicenter of Kings social media updates and interaction throughout the 2012-13 season.

“Since the advent of social media, the Sacramento Kings and its fanbase have been active participants in the ever-evolving online conversation,” said Kings Senior Vice President of Broadcasting, New Media and Brand Development Craig Amazeen. “Through Kings Social Media Headquarters, we aim to shine the spotlight on and reward our social-media-savy Sixth Man, as well as showcase the variety of ways in which fans can enrich their 24/7/365 Kings experience in and out of the arena.”

Beginning with the “Blackout” Home Opener on Nov. 5, fans in attendance will have a chance to get upgraded to one of the six designated seats by way of the Official Sacramento Kings App presented by Verizon or alternate Kings social-media avenues announced in-game.
