SACRAMENTO, CA, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 --- The Sacramento Kings will field a team for the fourth straight year to compete in the 2008 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas from July 11-20 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. Sacramento will play five games in nine days. Seventeen players will be on the team, including veterans Quincy Douby, Spencer Hawes, and Shelden Williams and the Kings’ draft selections, Jason Thompson, Sean Singletary, and Patrick Ewing Jr. Assistant Coach Chuck Person will be responsible for coaching the Kings’ summer league entry. The Kings will practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Practice Facility before leaving for Las Vegas. All five games will be webcast on NBA.com and three games will also be televised on NBATV.
