SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings today placed guard Bobby Jackson on the injured list and claimed Eddie House off waivers, announced Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.

A 6-1, 175-pound guard, House averaged 3.2 points and 1.0 assists in five games for the Milwaukee Bucks before being released on January 5. Prior to that, House played for the Charlotte Bobcats this season, averaging 11.1 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.85 steals in 13 games for the expansion franchise.

House was originally selected by the Miami Heat in the second round (37th pick overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft, and is averaging 7.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists over his five-year career.

Bobby Jackson underwent successful surgery of a major ligament in his left wrist on Monday (January 3, 2005) in which two pins were placed in the wrist bone to stabilize the ligament. Jackson could be out of action for up to 16 weeks.
