2012-13 KINGS INDIVIDUAL-GAME TICKETS ON SALE WEDNESDAY

--Tickets go on sale Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. for all regular season games,including the team’s “Blackout” Home Opener and more--

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Oct. 9, 2012 -- The Sacramento Kings today announced individual-game tickets for the 2012-13 season will go on sale Wednesday, October 10 at 10 a.m.

Led by second-year Kings Head Coach Keith Smart, the team features a roster of exciting young players and returning fan favorites. Individual-game tickets will be available at the Power Balance Pavilion Box Office, online at Kings.com/tickets or by calling 800-745-3000.

In addition to the “Blackout” Home Opener against the Warriors, notable opponents and stars making early stops in Sacramento include holiday season matchups versus Kobe Bryant and the rival L.A. Lakers (Nov. 21) and a pre New Year’s tilt with Boston Celtics mainstays Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce (Dec. 30).

This year’s schedule features 21 weekend home games, highlighted by a visit from reigning League and Finals MVP LeBron James and the 2012 NBA Champion Miami Heat (Jan. 12). Other notable contests include a visit by three-time NBA scoring leader Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder (Jan. 25), two games versus NorCal native Jeremy Lin and the new-look Houston Rockets (Feb. 10 and Apr. 3), star-studded affairs with the L.A. Clippers tandem of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul (Mar. 19 and Apr. 17) and the only stop to the River City by rookie phenom Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Hornets (Apr. 10).

Days following the team’s preseason finale against the Lakers in San Diego, fans will have a chance to attend the Kings inaugural Rhythm ‘N Rims community event at Power Balance Pavilion on Sunday, October 28. The festivities will feature a full day of activities, including a 5K walk, evening reception, basketball-related activities and a concert – all directly benefiting local charities.
