Kings Open 2010-11 Training Camp at Team Practice Facility

KINGS OPEN 2010-11 TRAINING CAMP AT TEAM PRACTICE FACILITY
Media Day Will Take Place on Monday, September 27th
From 2-4 pm at ARCO Arena
SACRAMENTO, CA, September 14, 2010 -- The Sacramento Kings will kick off their 2010-11 Training Camp on Monday, September 27th, beginning with the annual Media Day festivities from 2-4 pm at ARCO Arena.
Kings players, coaches and select basketball personnel will be available for interviews and head shot photographs on Media Day. Special photo and interview requests should be directed in advance to Darrin May in the Kings’ Media Relations Department.
The Kings’ first official practice of training camp will take place on Tuesday, September 28th at 10 am in the first of two practices for the day. All of the practice sessions during the preseason will be held at the Kings Practice Facility, with the exception of the team’s annual open scrimmage event at ARCO Arena on Sunday, October 3rd. Media members should call the Kings’ Media Relations Department to confirm the availability time for each practice session. Players and coaches will be available for interviews immediately following practice. On days in which the team practices twice (Tuesday, September 28th through Saturday, October 2nd), media availability will take place after the morning session ONLY.
Sacramento will break camp on Monday, October 4th in preparation for the team’s preseason opener versus Phoenix on Tuesday, October 5th (7 pm PST) at ARCO Arena in the first of the Kings’ seven-game preseason schedule.
