Sacramento Kings rookies Jason Thompson, Sean Singletary and Patrick Ewing, Jr.
helped make a positive impact on two young people's lives.
Sacramento Kings rookies Jason Thompson, Sean Singletary and Patrick Ewing, Jr. brightened the day of two special adolescent children at ARCO Arena.
In conjunction with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Jenna Hughes of Roseville, along with her uncle and cousin, and Jayson Price of Rocklin, who was accompanied by his parents and younger brother, toured ARCO Arena, visited the Kings locker room, met the rookie trio, who came bearing Kings gifts and shot baskets with the players on the court.
Jenna and Jayson were selected by Make-A-Wish to visit ARCO Arena as part of an enhancer to their wish. Jenna is waiting to attend the Super Bowl and Jayson is waiting to attend the NBA Finals. Make-A-Wish works with organizations like the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs to give opportunities to families to enjoy extraordinary time together. Maloof Sports & Entertainment has helped grant numerous wishes for deserving children through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California.
