KINGS ROYAL COURT DANCERS

Since the mid-80's, the Kings Organization has shared the floor with one of the most exciting dance teams in the NBA. The new look of the dancers bring tremendous amount of energy to the organization, adding to the overall entertainment value of each and every Kings home game. Beyond the confines of ARCO Arena, these women have established themselves as a premium entertainment attraction at hundreds of appearances - worldwide. The Royal Court Dancers had the opportunity to go international when they performed at the 1999 NBA Japan Games in Tokyo. They also appeared on the NBA Inside Stuff and ESPN where they were promoting their very own "I LOVE THIS GAME" NBA commercial, which debuted nationally last February. This year, the group traveled and performed at the Kings preseason games in Albuquerque and Las Vegas.

The dance team consists of sixteen women, ranging in age from 19 - 27 and have relocated from all over the nation. The dancers excite the fans with their high energy and explosive dance routines. Some of the dancers credits include; MTV videos, Music Circus Productions, NFL Dance Teams, Miss. Sacramento, Miss. Stockton, Miss. Dance Utah, and winning several National Dance Competitions. Off the court, the dancers' hours are filled with community events and charity fundraisers. The Dancers perform, sign autographs, take photos and help out with raffles for various associations; Muscular Dystrophy, Mercy Foundation, Leukemia Society, American Heart Walk, Boys and Girls Club of Sacramento, and the Kings Team Up project.

Under the direction of April Cabrera-Co, the Royal Court Dancers continue to be considered the most exciting dance team in the NBA. April began her career here in Sacramento performing with the Kings dance team and then moving to Los Angeles to perform as a Laker Girl. She has choreographed all over the nation for various NBA and NFL dance teams and is the former Ms. Fitness Bay Area.
