More on Carly:

Dance experience: This is my third year on the Sacramento Kings Dance Team, but I have been training in ballet, jazz, musical theatre and modern dance for 16 years.

One thing people do not know about you: I also love to sing and act! In addition to dancing, I have an extensive musical theatre background and I have been cast in several equity theatre productions.

Is this your full-time job: While the SKDT is my full-time job, I am also a senior at Sacramento State University.

Career goal: I plan to graduate with a BA in Public Relations in 2008 and work to obtain my Master’s degree directly following. When finished with my education, I plan to be an event planner for celebrities.

Favorite TV show: “So You Think You Can Dance?”

Favorite season: Summer. I love going to the lake with my friends and getting some down time from my hectic schedule.

Favorite color: Black.

Favorite city in the world: There are so many places I would love to go that I haven’t been yet, but my favorite city so far is NYC. I love the amazing shopping and being able to catch a couple of my favorite Broadway shows!

Favorite song: I am such a fan of so many different types of music. I have a new favorite song every week! My favorite song this week is Jo Jo’s Reply to Sean Kingston’s "Beautiful Girls." She has such a mature voice for such a young artist and I really enjoy all of her music.

The people you cannot live without: My family. My mom, dad and sister have been there for me through everything. They are my support system and we are all so close.

Dancer on the team who knows you best: Becca. We met at our first day of Kings Mini Camp and have been best friends ever since. She knows me better than anyone.

Favorite Kings Community appearance: The Shriners Children’s Hospital visit during the holidays. I love getting to spend time with children whenever possible. Seeing the smiles on their faces when we enter their hospital rooms with Kings gear and basketballs is priceless.

Favorite SKDT Dance Routine: I love “Old Time Rock n’ Roll” because of the astounding response we get from the crowd. That is always a high energy routine!

Favorite SKDT costume: I absolutely love the light bright top!

One thing people do not know about the SKDT: Some of our silliest and most memorable moments take place in the locker room. We are the most outrageous group of young women you will ever meet!

Favorite matchup: Kings vs. Lakers. The arena is out of control! It is so much fun!

Favorite pregame ritual: Jumping up and down in the tunnel right before intros always gets me pumped up for the game. Our captain, Jennifer, always yells, “Yeah ladies!” right before we enter the court!

If you were stranded on a desert island with no chance of rescue, and could only have ONE item with you, what would it be and why? A cell phone with perfect reception so I could keep in touch with all my family and friends who I love so much!

Favorite comedy of all time? “Anchor Man.”

Favorite love story of all time? “The Notebook.”

Chris Richardson or Blake Lewis? Chris! I had the pleasure of meeting him during the Idol ‘07 tour, and he is such a talented young man who will make it very far in the music industry!

Matthew McConaughey or Brad Pitt? I’ve always had something for Brad Pitt! He’s so attractive and I love all his movies…especially “Oceans 11!”

Fergie or Nelly Furtado? I would rather see Fergie in concert because I think she would be an amazing entertainer, but I have been a fan of Nelly Furtado since day one.

If you could trade lives with someone (alive) for one week, who would it be? I would choose choreographer, Mia Michaels, from the show “So You Think You Can Dance?”

What are you looking forward to during the 2007-08 Kings season? I FINALLY turned 21, so I am able to travel with the dance team this season! Woo hoo!
