In anticipation of next week's NBA Draft Lottery, Kings VP of Basketball and Franchise Operations Vlade Divac shared brief thoughts about the upcoming Draft class as well as the team's mindset during an important offseason.
“I think it is a pretty good Draft class," said Vlade. "Sometimes you don’t see many good players in the Draft, but I believe that this year there are a lot of (good players).”
The Kings front office - who has been holding mock Drafts the last few weeks - is working through any and every scenario in preparation for the June 25 Draft.
“Right now we’re scouting a lot of possibilities and watching tapes of college and International players," continued Divac. "We have somewhat of a picture of what is going to happen, but now it is about setting priorities.”
The first major date in the offseason is next Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery held in New York.
