Throwback Thursday: Kings Complete Massive Comebacks Seven Years Apart

In an eerily similar situation, the Sacramento Kings found themselves down by as many as 35 seven years ago at the United Center. With Chicago leading 79-44, the Sacramento comeback was in full effect by the fourth quarter, with the Kings taking a lead in the last minutes of the contest. Tyreke Evans scored 18 of his 23 points in the second half while combining with Ime Udoka to score 17 of the team’s final 19 points.

Coincidentally seven years later in Utah, Sactown responded with a large fourth quarter run to overtake the Jazz after trailing by as many as 20. Ty Lawson and DeMarcus Cousins combined to tally the team’s last 14 points, completing last night’s comeback win.
