Following a tough overtime loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, the Kings will be looking to end the five-game road trip on a positive note as the team takes on the Milwaukee Bucks.
In the game against the Hornets, Kings guard Rajon Rondo set a new Sacramento-era record by recording 20 assists along with 14 points and eight rebounds. Forward Rudy Gay also tallied a season-high 28 points, including the game-tying shot as the clock expired in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.
Meanwhile, Milwaukee ended a three-game losing streak with a victory over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night, marking the team's second victory in their previous seven games. The Bucks roster contains some notable talent, including the athletic and lengthy forward Giannis Antetokounmpo who leads the team in scoring at 17.5 points per game. Other players to be on the look out for include Milwaukee center Greg Monroe, who is averaging a double-double with 16.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, and also sharpshooting guard Khris Middleton who is knocking down 42.9 percent of his attempts from three-point range.
- The Kings were defeated by the Bucks in both of last season's matchups, but hold a 30-28 record over Milwaukee in the Sacramento era.
- Kings forward Caron Butler will face off against his former team and will also be playing in his home state of Wisconsin.
- Former Duke teammates will be reunited as Kings guard Seth Curry and Bucks center Miles Plumlee were both a part of the Blue Devils team that won the 2010 NCAA Championship.
