Preview: Kings (26-46) at Grizzlies (50-24)

The Kings will meet the Grizzlies for the last time this season, looking for their first win in nine tries at the FedExForum in Memphis.

Although Sacramento lost its first two contests this season against Memphis, it bounced back to grab a big 12-point victory over the Grizzlies in February.

The game was chippy and saw three players receive technical fouls. Rudy Gay led the Kings with 28 points, while DeMarcus Cousins finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.

However, Cousins has been ruled out of tonight's game as Kings head coach George Karl decided to give the All-Star center some rest.

  • The Kings won the last contest with the Grizzlies, ending a nine-game losing streak to them.
  • Rudy Gay, who has started at the power forward position in the last 3 games, has scored 20 or more points in 11 of the last 14 games.
  • A Grizzlies loss would tie a season-high losing streak for Memphis this season and has failed to score 90 points in all of those losses.
