Preview: Kings (26-45) at Pelicans (37-34)

The Kings saw big performances from the usual stars on Wednesday in Phoenix, but its second-year's starting guard may have pushed them to victory.

Ray McCallum tallied 14 points, five rebounds and five assists while playing stifling defense on Eric Bledsoe and P.J. Tucker.

Sacramento will need more of that if it wants to match its season-long winning streak against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans.

New Orleans and Sacramento have split the first two matchups of the season, with both teams winning on the other's home court.

  • In two games against New Orleans this season, DeMarcus Cousins has averaged a team-high 23.0 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor, 14.5 rebounds, four assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks.
  • In two games against Sacramento this season, Anthony Davis has averaged a team-high 21.0 points, nine rebounds and 2.5 blocks, while Tyreke Evans has averaged 20 points on 54 percent shooting, 6.5 assists and five rebounds.
