Boogie Shares Love For Sacramento

As DeMarcus Cousins began his second All-Star appearances in Toronto on Thursday, he had a chance to sit down with SiriusXM NBA Radio to discuss his thoughts on the Kings.

When asked on how other NBA players view the city of Sacramento, Boogie stated “How is it viewed? I can’t really say…I love Sacramento and I think it’s one of the best cities in the NBA.”

Cousins has shared similar sentiment throughout his tenure with the purple and black, and the two-time All-Star was complimentary of the city, sharing his desire to be among the Kings greats in an early season interview with SLAM Magazine.

“I love Sacramento. I consider this home,” said No. 15. “I want my legacy to be here, I want my number in the rafters here. I want that storyline to be he changed things around in Sacramento.”

The affection comes as no surprise, as DMC has actively played an immense role in the Sacramento community since his arrival in 2010.
