Those who follow DeMarcus Cousins know of his artistic abilities in the music industry. Just three years ago, Cousins shared teasers of an album in the works, only to later reveal that the sounds were part of an elaborate April Fools’ prank.

This time, Boogie is serious. In an interview with Sports 1140 KHTK’s Carmichael Dave, No. 15 revealed that if he’s named an All-Star starter in New Orleans, he’ll release an R&B album.

“If you guys make me a starter in this year’s All-Star game, I’ll release my R&B album and it won’t be an April Fools’ joke this time,” said DeMarcus.

The promise has led to much speculation across the web as to the title and cover of the album. Users on Twitter were heard pining for “Boogie Nights” while Bleacher Report chimed in with custom artwork for DMC.

For now, we’ll have to hold off in hopes that Cousins is voted a starter and listen to some smooth tracks from Boogie’s past days in the studio.
