The 2008 New York Knicks Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge, sponsored by SINGULAIR, Regional Competition took place on Friday, February 22nd, 2008 at the Chinatown YMCA in Manhattan. Thirty-one (31) participants from around the tri-state area competed and over 100 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received a Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Plaque, two (2) tickets the Knicks game that evening and arena food vouchers. The Knicks provided Walt Frasier jerseys to all participants, as well as invited the youngsters to attend the Knicks pre-game shoot-around that evening. An on-court recognition ceremony was held prior to tip-off for the eight (8) Regional Competition Champions. Congratulations to all Regional participants!
