The 2008 New Jersey Nets Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge, sponsored by SINGULAIR, Regional Competition took place on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the New Jersey Nets Practice Facility in East Rutherford, NJ. Thirty-two (32) participants from around the New Jersey Nets market area competed and over 100 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received a Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Plaque, prize bag filled with NJ Nets goodies, two (2) tickets to the Nets game that evening and arena food vouchers. The participants and their family members were welcomed into the arena before the gates opened to enjoy pre-game shoot around and a participant group photo on court with NJ Nets Bostjan Nachbar. The eight (8) Regional Competition Champions were acknowledged on the jumbo tron between the first and second quarters of the Nets game. Congratulations to all Regional participants!
