The 2008 Miami Heat Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge, sponsored by SINGULAIR, Regional Competition took place on Sunday, April 6th, 2008 at North Shore Park in North Miami Beach. Twenty-one (21) participants from around the Miami area competed and over 100 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received a Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Plaque, two (2) tickets the Heat game that evening and arena food vouchers. The Miami Heat invited all participants to attend the Heat pre-game shoot-around that evening. An on-court recognition ceremony was held prior to tip-off for the eight (8) Regional Competition Champions. Congratulations to all Regional participants!
