As ambassador of the programme, Luol Deng believes “Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA will provide a positive environment for kids to learn valuable lessons like teamwork, respect, and hard work.” He later adds “Having the opportunity to give back to my community is something I cherish and take pride in."
In addition to weekly coaching, select participants will also get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a clinic by a NBA Legend on October 10th at the NBA Central Court, a temporary basketball court being constructed on the Southbank in Central London.
