PRESEASON ENDS, JAZZ FINISH 4-3
"LIFE OFF, GAME ON"
SALT LAKE CITY (October 24, 2008) – The Utah Jazz used a strong second half to silence those pesky Blazers last night, coming up with a win 100-89. Though they allowed 61 points in the first half, they held Portland to just 26 points in the second half of the game. Kyle Korver came alive with 15 points hitting 4-6 from the 3 point line, while Ronnie Brewer led all scores with 22 points (11 in the first quarter).
Portland was without the services of Greg Oden, Lamarcus Aldridge, and Brandon Roy (both coaches decision), and were led by Channing Frye's 16 points.
