"My sister is a Type I Diabetic and she has struggled with Diabetes for 30 years. She has her ups and downs and her struggle has been with her feet. She has had an ulcer on her foot that would not heal. She has gone through ten surgeries trying to repair the foot. It has been year since her last surgery.

She was so impressed that Greg would donate his kidney to his sister with diabetes. Diabetes complications don't get much attention from the media and with Greg in the spotlight he was able to show that he could donate his kidney and still be strong to play basketball. Greg seems like a very down to earth kind of guy who genuinely cares about the fans and cares about what they think. I know my sister would be thrilled to have him for dinner and so would our family!" - Brenda
