Zions Bank representatives and C.J. Miles presented Steve Heffernan (left), of South Jordan, UT, with C.J. Miles' paycheck during half-time of the Feb. 21 Jazz home game. We sat down with Steve for a brief Q&A session about his experience.

Jazz: How does it feel winning an NBA player's one-game salary?

Steve: The whole thing went a lot quicker than I had expected. I'm just glad I didn't have to make any baskets to make the money.

Jazz: How long have you been a Jazz fan?

Steve: Ever since I moved here from Cleveland. It's been about 20 years.

Jazz: And who is your favorite Jazz player?

Steve: Andre

Jazz: Kirilenko or Owens?

Steve: Kirilenko, but Owens is good too.

Jazz: So, what was it like to sit on the bench?

Steve: It's a lot different than sitting in the stands. The court seems a lot smaller when you're sitting so close to it.

Jazz: And now, the question on everyone's mind. What does an accountant from South Jordan do with his winnings?

Steve: I'm taking a vacation.

Jazz: Where to?

Steve: We're going on a cruise to the Caribbean, probably the west Caribbean.

Jazz: That's a great way to spend your money. Are you taking the kids?

Steve: All three of them.
